Problem:
  • Lately my X timeline is showing messages from several UGC creators in the Pixels community who express there disappointment about UGC been given away for free or during giveaways been put on the market place. They have put a lot of time and effort in creating UGC for the community to brighten up our Pixel farms and houses to see them shameless been put on the Market Place.
Solution:
  • The Pixels Market Place already has a build in mechanism which prevent certain items from being put on the Market I would suggest adding an extra option during the submission process where UGC creators can list what receivers can do with the UGC they have received.
None – UGC can only be placed on NFT or Speck, UGC is not tradeable between players and cannot be placed on the Market Place.
Limited - UGC can be placed on NFT or Speck, UGC is tradeable between players but cannot be placed on the Market Place.
Full - UGC can be placed on NFT or Speck, UGC is tradeable between players and can be put on the Market Place.
Pro:
  • A lot more appreciation for UGC creators.
Con:
  • Needs assessment if technically can be implemented / prio low
