I noticed crafting tree kit makes zero sense. for example whittlewood tree kit, needs whittlewood log and soil which is ok, but the following tree kit is mad. to craft craftbark tree kit, you need whittlewood(should be craftbark log too), sawstump tree kit, you need craftbark log(must be sawstump log), borebranch tree kit, needs sawstump log which is(for me) nonsense. I think much better if you guys introduce another item let's just say let's name it STEM and to make a stem, you need LOG, and to be able to make a tree kit instead of log, use stem...
Ex:
Crafting of whittlewood tree kit: I need X amount of whittlewood Stem(which you need to craft it using X amount of whittlewood log), Sap/Fertilizer, Soil
Craftbark tree kit: X amount of Craftbark stem(craft X amount of craftbark log), Sap/Fertilizer, Soil...
Pros: Combat insane flooding of materials in the market. Good thing is since you guys already introducing Health stuff on reusable items like axe, pick, mind as well adding lifespan of trees
Cons: Players will get angry when their trees wont grow anymore xD, and also price of stuffs will also skyrocket due to potential scarcity
not a final draft, but i guess a good idea for future development of the game.
