Anti Bot Energy System / Anti Bot Captcha
G
Gilbert Arias
1 - Anti Bot Energy System:
hello given the fact that bots exploit any source of energy we can have a little system like a gym, where we use the equipment and gain energy doing manual workout tasks
an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX4-khVzeEc
of course not a 3d system but something similar into the pixels world.
2 - Anti Bot Captcha:
this system its a bit more efficient at controlling bots while doing repetitive tasks and also it could integrate little rewards as the example i will upload.
the mechanics are simple: with a RNG for each click action we trigger a pop-up screen with a random generated captcha selector with few key points, 1 random images at random sizes it could be X amount of different sizes, 2 random positions and grades, 3 random target images from the same group, 4 random positions on the given square. or pop-up

Soft-catpcha to avoid automation
GLun
I recently read in the official Discord chat that players were sharing code to automate the cooking skill. They mentioned leaving the bot to work while they sleep. This is possible because there are no captchas in the game at the moment.
I understand that captchas are considered useless in catching bots nowadays, but I still believe it is necessary to include them to require organic user interaction every X amount of time. This way, people using bots will encounter an extra barrier.
I suggest requiring an in-game action such as drinking water (like pets) or touching grass—something that feels connected to the game rather than selecting traffic lights in a captcha.
Thank you for considering this :)

I propose to improve your antibot system by introducing an additional custom captcha, as it is implemented in the game Sunnflower land, you may have heard of it. The idea is that when you collect plants or break some other robot, a captcha appears periodically that you need to solve, you can apply it to players with low ratings.

Non-intrusive Puzzle / Captcha every 10 minutes

Non-intrusive Puzzle / Captcha every 10 minutes to make bots disappear. There are lots of games that implement this, and it was proven to work. Check Rise of Kingdoms how they implement it.

Puzzel/Captcha

Why don't you add something like a puzzle/capcha after producing 10 items and every 1 hour for example?
Players who are using bot/macro are having an advantage and this ends up encouraging players who actually play the game to use bot/macro too.
It was so simple to get rid of bots/macros and it seems like you are asking players to use bot/macro because you don't create something like a puzzle/captcha.
I hope you don't misunderstand my message, I would just like all players to play in a fair/equal way.

SunflowerLand Random Captcha Puzzles for Harvesting/Crafting
Atro
To avoid bots and cheaters it is better to have a little PUZZLE while harvesting a random number of crops or crafting craftables. Like what ppl do in SunflowerLand.
